I’m curious what you think about this Richard Idemon’s notion. He based it on the following:

“The Moon is 1) the needy inner infant; and a very common lunar pathology is addiction in all forms, 2) the nurturing parent or inner mother, and 3) the archetypal feminine. The lunar phases represent the triple goddess: 1) the Maiden, the virgin (first quarter), 2) the Nymph or fertile woman, the mother (full Moon) and 3) the Crone, the Witch or wise old woman, the grandmother (last quarter).”

According to Idemon, our concept of Love and how we will relate to our partner stems from how we encountered in our childhood the idea of being nourished and cared for. Can anyone here can relate to that? Thanks for sharing your opinions.

hmmmm the moon for me serves as our emotional nurturance for sure and covers the first five years of life (with mother) then mercury takes over for school years.

Moon is our view and experiences of our own mother. I would have to disagree that this planet is about love, affection and romance as this is seen by venus, sign, house and aspects. As well as 7th and 5th.

We all have an inner child but I would defer this to sun, your subconscious mind. This is what the East meditations refer to when talking to this ‘inner you’ and show it another future one which you imagine/visualise for yourself. This is also linked to quantum physics like the oh so popular video The Secret.
