i have sun and jupiter in leo in the 8th house as well as mercury, venus and mars in virgo in the 8th house. i usually have strong feelings but i want to be sure what to expect from myself since i’m still fairly young… any comments on this? thanks in advance.
i logged in, so now i’m able to edit the original post.
thank you all! i can totally relate to the pluto/moon conj., and the fact that they’re in scorpio makes it more dominant, i think. my mom is one of my best friends actually, but i have a broken home and she was the only one i relied on for so many years. after a while i took the role of a teacher for her and she gained enormous respect towards me over observing my inner motives over the years. she even started to study astrology after seeing my chart and she still avoids commenting on it :/
when i wanted to be a musician, she insisted that i should study science. i’ve been studying science since i was 13, and now that i’m utterly unhappy because i can not express myself in the ways i’m able to, i dropped out of university to study music, and the whole world was against me. luckily i’m a good communicator usually, so i convinced everyone around me that it’s for the best. now i have great support from my family, but i’m afraid that i may be wrong about choosing to change my ways. i have huge confidence about it but i think taking the responsibility of my own life is something i’m not used to. do you think could it be a south node thing?
well, i’m a total noob so i can’t find where to upload pics over here :) i uploaded it to tinypic, though, it shouldn’t expire now:
Hi there, here few keywords for you: relationships, business, personal power, and occult. And sex.
With the strong eight house you take relationships very serious. So your contacts to the people are not going to be just casual, but constructive, goal-oriented, informative, and you will have a lot of respect for responsible folks. You will also look for resourcefulness and good research-skills in others, and possess them yourself.
The 8th house is also called the house of business, so many planets there are very good at running an independent business. If you inherit your family business, you can take it to the new heights.
You maybe experienced already that your occasional intense emotional expressions can translate into having power over other people. This can be used positively, but it can find its negative expression too. With Leo, and Virgo, you will probably stick to the power of facts and possibly also power of creativity. Unless you have it squared or opposed by some other planet, there should not be any unhealthy power issues.
Partially you gain power because your understanding of people is pretty deep, you know what motivates them and what drives them. With the strong 8th house, Death is your friend. What most people fear feels familiar to you. You may feel fearless and indestructible, and considering Virgo’s involvement here, this should not be overly dangerous to you. You are good at psychology, maybe even to the point that you want to study it more. However, you can’t explain it all rationally, and that’s when you will be looking for answers in unconventional sciences, like astrology.
Finally sex is a mystery that you feel drawn to explore, maybe also professionally. You would probably make a great sex-therapist, because you will dig into this topic until you reach your conclusions, and you can also apply them in real life.
The placement of your Pluto and its aspects can tell if this stellium is leaning more towards the brighter or darker side. Hope all of this resonates and helps a bit.
Abella Arthur, a great Astrologer and Occultist, desribes her 8th house Virgo stellium with this words:
“Respect is a big thing for me, so for the longest time I treated people the way I would want to be treated. Bad move. When I speak, I speak with personal clarity and thought. My natural inclination is to think that other’s do that too. That they think of consequences, the well-being of the person/s their responsible to, and important minutia. But they rarely do. They’re in the moment. They’re into themselves.
So that’s another ‘popular line’ that isn’t my karma. My karma is NOT to treat people the way I would want to be treated. Why? Because most people are nothing like me.“ (…)
