Can anyone give me advice in terms of college? (birth chart is shown)

I’m almost finishing up with High School and soon I’ll be on my way to college. I’m very excited, and though I’ve done well in High School, it’s been a huge emotional struggle for me. I’ve been in therapy for a lot of things, including all of the negative things that I’ve come to receive from school (panic attacks, I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder, depression, and my asthma has gotten out of control- I have asthma attacks at least once or twice a week). School has always been difficult for me, mainly for the fact that I feel like it’s too structured and I’m not gaining enough freedom. I feel as though the things I’m being forced to study or memorize aren’t in my interest and also things I will never use. I also feel as though I’m too creative to be restricted when it comes to education… I love to paint, cook/bake, read, write, sing, act; and it’s almost like I receive about 1/10 of that in school. Most of the time I feel like I’m wasting time attending school when I could be out doing extra volunteering, or meeting new people, or simply doing the things I love. Again, I do well in school- it just brings me too many problems and it’s become unbearable; I can’t even go a day without crying.

I’m wondering if college would be a mistake for me…? My family can afford to pay for my college, but they’re also very supportive of my dream to open up my own cafe/bakery. It’s a shock for me to even ask this, considering the fact that college was always my priority and something I’ve striven for… but the problem is that I never acknowledged how much grief it was putting on my life. I feel like I can’t even be myself which is happy and optimistic because school is just honestly a burden to me. It’s not that I’m lazy, it’s that school has been a nightmare. I’m incredibly ambitious and I’m very determined to open up a cafe/bakery… I’m just not sure if I should push that to the back burner and go to college for something like Journalism? (I love to write, but it tends to stress me out and I don’t always look forward to it. In contrast, I love baking and cooking. I never get bored with it and I’m always beyond excited to try new recipes).

Can anyone tell by my chart in which direction I should head towards…? I’m quite confused myself. My chart is below.

Thank you!Image Alt Text

I forwarded your question to other astrologers. here one reply:

“Don’t go. If you do decide to go, go to community college on a loose schedule (your own terms) and take classes that will help you work towards owning and running a bakery/cafe. Get a job at a cafe or a bakery, preferably a small business that you can really dedicate yourself to, and learn as much as you can about the craft of baking, the craft of restaurants. Connect with people who do what you love and try to learn everything you can from them. It will be hard and you’ll work a lot but I think in the long run it will be the best thing you can do for yourself.

Check out more information on Virgo Midheavan, North Node in the 10th, North Node conjunct Chiron, and Sun opposite Jupiter as well as the energy involved with the Capricorn / Cancer axis and the 8th house / 2nd house axis."

I’m not a professional astrologer, but to me this looks a lot like a chart of someone dealing with health matters. Medicine? Diets? There’s Virgo on the MC, a lot of Cancer, intelligent Sagittarius on the ascendant, and the Moon in humanitarian Aquarius. Chiron “the wounded healer” is in your 10th house, this also means something! I’m from outside of the US, so I don’t know how you choose your majors etc. in college, but I really think that something medicine-related would be suitable. Your second house ruling income is in Capricorn, which may suggest you’ll be earning money in some serious, tructured environment, place where you need to wear somekind of uniform to work (sounds like a hospital?) Anyway, all the best!

Do you like Martha Stewart? Try to consider her as a role model. She studied history and business, and those broad subjects helped her in her own business. You too have a strong bond with everything that is related to home, including the desire to communicate about it (Sun and Mercury in Cancer). I see that you also have a wonderful imagination (3rd house Moon, Venus trine Uranus). College will give you much fore freedom in expression. I would recommend that you take English as major and Business as a minor. It will prepare you well to run some day your own business. You have a lot of potential for running your own business (Sun 8th house, Jupiter 2nd) but there is still a lot to learn, including a greater determination and focus. Good luck!

I was going to say the same thing as Zuzanna above – with Moon in the 4th you might want to develop a wellness campaign, or something at the grass roots level. Plus, I have found people with Moon in Aquarius to be able to handle emotional issues reallyreally well, which is great for those you might help. I also noticed how you have your personal planets up top (in the OuterWorld section) and the slower moving ones down bottom. I’m sure that means something, although I am not sure what! Can somebody else chime in and help?
