Image Alt TextSo…here I’m just a beginner and a courious. I remember my mother told me I’ve got some kind of protection in my natal chart, could it be the double kite?what’s the difference between the kite and the duble kite?in my kite are involved the 1.,3.,5. And 9.house. The lower point is in the 3rd house (there are Saturn,Uranus in Capricorn and Neptune in Sagittarius).the higher point is in the 9th house (there are Venus,Mercury and Kiron in Gemini). The other involved house and planet are the 1st house (Moon in Scorpio) and the 5th house (Mars in Pisces). Other planet that I have in my chart are Pluto in Scorpio (2nd house) and Sun and Jupiter in Taurus in the 8th house. I’m a Gemini with AC in Libra and MC in Cancer. Can someone help me to understand better my chart?are the chart with the kite somehow different in interpretation?what happen with the planet that aren’t involved in the configuration? i’d like to mention that My job is involved in film post-production,my childhood was somehow difficult because of my father drugs addiction and the divorce of my parents (I was 2 when this happened).Through life I’ve been influenced a lot by my mother,a pretty strong woman. Can someone see this in the chart?

Pluto cojunct Moon is indicative of having a strong mother:

“The Moon represents how the physical mother teaches the child to respond emotionally” Pluto represents the unconscious motivation of a generation" When it ties to the Moon, it usually indicates a manipulative and controlling mother type.

This aspect should be read after considering the other aspects to the Moon, for the combination of aspects to this conjunction will tell the story of how the child is overwhelmed by the mother’s energy. She is a strong woman a woman who may be obsessed by something that is going on in her life during the time this child is influenced. The sign involved in the conjunction is important in determining what kind of energy is available.

The conjunction is overpowering emotional reactions are usually formed in the subconscious rather than in the conscious mind. The aspect indicates a person who responds emotionally (via the feelings, or the responses in the physical body), although the cause of the emotional reaction is actually subconscious. By way of compensation, the individual with this aspect feels that he must be in control of his responses all the time. He will keep a tight rein on his own emotional responses, and will attempt to control any emotional situations around him in order to avoid being surprised or shocked at his o!n reactions. This can indicate that his mother controlled her environment completely and manipulated everyone around her. This person will become an adult who has difficulty responding spontaneously in any emotional relationship involving family, friends or lovers. He can obsess on any relationship and may surround himself with people he can control. He may surround himself with inferior types in order to maintain control, he may play all the control games possible, from excessive gift-giving to smother love.

This aspect may describe the smother love syndrome which causes the person to produce the same kind of emotional responses !hen he reaches adulthood, the root of the distortion is control.

This is the underside of Pluto manifesting itself. When it is understood, the transformational process can begin. Jung talks of the collective unconscious, that part of the psyche in all of us that remembers what has happened to the specties up to this point" %he collective unconscious can be linked to 9dgar Cayce’s Akashic 0ecords, though Jung interpreted it in much different terminology. When the Moon is attached to the energy of Pluto, it gives a person a chance to be tremendously creative, to tap into the wealth of information and ideas that lurk below the surface. This type of creative energy can be called intuitive for it comes from the subconscious. The person has to develop the skill of letting the intuitive energy flow!“ It cannot be developed as long as the feeling nature is controlled.”

Kite “Whenever a person has a kite in his chart, he is considered to be more likely to be successful in his endeavours because the opposition will give him the push to go out and conquer the obstacles that are presented to him, and the sextiles will give him a little bit more harmony once he has achieved his goals.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kite_aspect

http://www.aquamoonlight.co.uk/aspect-patterns2.html http://www.evolvingdoor.ca/glossary/glossary_k.htm

Your chart ruler Venus is retrograde, suggesting a late bloomer in life Quite often Jupiter in 12th suggests protection and ‘guardian angel’ feel. There is no difference between a kite and double kite, it just means you have two apex planets. Venus however, is afflicted by oppositions to Saturn. Venus opp Neptune shows ‘rose tinted glasses’ unrealistic expectations in romance and finances.

Neptune Opposition Midheaven, Subconscious, “This aspect indicates great sensitivity, but for this energy to work positively, your earliest childhood must be reasonably peaceful and serene. You are very sensitive to the hidden energies in your home and between your parents or other members of your family; and any kind of ongoing negative feelings can cause you to become insecure and lacking in self-confidence. Later on, you may feel that you cannot easily cope with life’s challenges, because inside you cannot depend upon your emotions and your spontaneous actions to make everything come out right. Your relationship with one of your parents may be rather difficult. Often this aspect signifies that one of your parents is too weak psychologically to play his or her role in your life. This might lead you later to seek out someone who can be a guide and a loving parent figure for you. The problem is that such a relationship would displace your search for normal adult relationships. However, even if both parents are strong, you may go to the other extreme and idealize the more influential one. In that case you would compare everyone you meet to that parent, instead of dealing with each person as an individual. This is not so bad as the first alternative, because at least you have strong ideals that you can believe in. Later in life this may turn into a strong belief in God. Because you are so sensitive, you may eventually develop a strong psychic and intuitive ability.” Source: Planet in aspects, Robert Pelleters http://astromatrix.org/Symbolism/Planet-Aspects/Neptune-Opposition-Midheaven

“Saturn’s” influence seems to be more obvious in the houses than in the signs can rule the life with an iron rod, although invisible, by undermining the sense of ¬self worth and making it difficult for the individual to permit any close emotional contacts.

Saturn’s sign indicates what you find uncomfortable and must learn to manage. Where and how you feel a lack of confidence — the house position of Saturn defines where you need to establish your skills, an issue you worry about and wish you could depend on !

Lovely anecdote about Saturn from member mahaira on astrologyweekly.com, “There’s an interesting thing I read somewhere, which I would never take as a rule as it oversimplifies matters – we can guess where someone’s Saturn is placed, broadly speaking, by asking him/her “What do you want (or did want) but don’t have?”

Saturn in the 3rd house Serious and penetrating mind. Capable of deep concentration. Keen sense of justice, early life apt to be unhappy. Once apart from his relatives may well feel no sense of kinship/family with them. Tendency to despondency and depression needs overcoming. Education possibly interrupted, but individual is an “eternal student.” Will go on seeking knowledge the whole life. Apt to cling to the known and familiar due to unrecognised fear of new situations. Loneliness in childhood that needs understanding in later years. Lungs not strong here and Saturn says “Don’t smoke.” Saturn operates in the early life (ages 7 to 18).These people have structured and methodical minds well fitted to solving practical problems. Lack of confidence, however, may restrict full use of the imagination, and can hinder academic success. Slow at learning basic education (blockage).Possibly only child or eldest and felt they had to take responsibility for siblings. They will judge their ideas according to their usefulness. Good for publishers or teaching. Make a good accountant and will be cautious about signing papers. Much use of telephone or letters in business.

When Saturn and Uranus fall in the same sign or house we get caught in a cleft stick, wanting to make changes but fearing to let go of the old. Venus is further afflicted by chiron so research this.

Ascendant Square Neptune

“You are overly sensitive to criticism and often fail to assert yourself when you should defend yourself against adversaries. You are never quite sure of your ability to succeed in competition, and thus, you may avoid challenges until you feel more competent. The line of communication between you and your parents may have been faulty, which made it difficult for you to win their support and encouragement for a specific career. It will be a long time before you really know what you want out of life, so choosing a career will be difficult. You tend to daydream instead of doing something to actively express your creative ability. Always seeking the ideal, you are disappointed with anything less.

Your imagination is well-developed, but you lack the determination to benefit from it. You consider yourself far less talented than your competitors and tend to relegate yourself to a position of unimportance beside them. Although you have a high regard for education, you are lazy about finding the means to get one. You have to work extra hard to compensate for your lack of opportunities to develop your potentials. Your efforts are often unrewarding because you tend to spread your interests too widely. You must confine yourself to specific fields of endeavor if you want to derive any benefits.

You are easily victimized by the people in your environment because you are too willing to believe them, and you always give them the benefit of the doubt. You often misunderstand those in authority over you because you do not want to hear the truth if you suspect it might be painful. In the same way you may be misunderstood by others who will question your motives in dealing with them. You should try to find a career that ties in somehow with the needs of the masses. You are very sensitive to observed social injustices and feel that if you can correct them you will earn the appreciation of others and gain spiritual credits too.

In your love life, the image that you transmit to others may often be illusory and not get across exactly the meaning you intend. This may result from a hesitancy to assert yourself or simply from misinterpreting how others are responding to you, so that feedback does not alter your presentation to produce the effect you want. You can clear this up by making your messages quite verbal and not communicating just with gestures or eye contact, for these are too easily misinterpreted. Insist that people respond to what you say, rather than (just) to what you do, and you will have a much clearer idea of the reactions of others to you. Because of this situation, you may feel somewhat insecure as to whether or not your companion’s responses to you are sincere and dependable. Chances are your doubts are unfounded. Here again, put your confidence in words rather than deeds, where your motives may be uncertain or misinterpreted. If you establish a clear policy of openness and honesty between yourself and your partner, you can depend on your verbal communication more than on feelings, which may be biased by insecurity. But if you are anything less than strictly honest, the relationship will fall into a quagmire.”

It is sort of frustrating. Websites have much info on the White Kite formation (derivative from a Grand Trine). There is, though, little info on the octile Black Kite, where all of the challenging aspects are represented – is it that rare or is there some other reason it is so little addressed? I have an exceedingly strong one: Chiron in Aquarius in the 10th House semisquare (12') Saturn in Capricorn in the 8th House; Saturn semisquare (8') Venus in Scorpio in the 6th House; Venus square (20') Chiron; Venus sesquiquadrate (15') Mars in Cancer in the 2nd House; Mars sesquiquadrate (5') Chiron; and, finally, the volcano of an aspect is Mars (constituting the apex of the pattern) opposition (6'18") to Saturn. All aspects are separating except Mars-Saturn, which is approaching. Furthermore, Mars is out-of-bounds and Mars and Saturn are in opposition in the declinations. In conclusion, to emphasize acuteness, if the heliocentric chart is viewed, the challenging relationship of Mars-Saturn is affirmed/reinforced. Appending note, the planets are direct with only Chiron being retrograde. I am learning much about astrology but my powers of interpretation are in their infancy. Can any help be provided in giving insight into the configuration (part of my chart) detailed above?
