Hi Maya there are few things one looks for in a horoscope chart to find out when the babies will come. The most likely suspect here is the 5th house and the ruler/dispositor of this house (the Sun!). In your case the first impression is that you will probably have a baby some 2 years from now once Jupiter comes to your 5th house. Since Leo and Sun are involved, mu guess is that it would be a boy.
Another way to predict is to see when your natal Sun will be aspected by what planets. For example in about two years from now you progressed moon will trine your Sun, adding your chances of having a baby.
With Lilith in 5th you may be also on some subconscious level resisting the idea of becoming pregnant. So one needs to consider that too.
Typically an astrologer spends at least an hour of studying the chart (Solar Arc, Directions are very important too) to come up with a pretty accurate prediction, but these are the first steps. Did your friend look at both of your charts?
Oh my goodness, thank you for so much insight! I had been looking into the 5th house, but wasn’t sure how to progress my chart, and my natal chart is relatively empty.
My friend looked very briefly at my chart when she told me those things.. maybe five to ten minutes. I was curious if there was something glaringly obvious in my chart due to how quickly she said it. She did not look at my husband’s chart at all. He has quite a lot going on in his 5th house.. I wasn’t sure if that is what you look at in terms of the father. He was born on October 13th 1986 at 1:15AM in Chico, CA.
Somewhere else I was told to look at my applying aspects, but was then told that the only ones that I had were Moon sextile Pallas, Pluto sextile Pallas and North Node sextile Pallas. I’m not positive how the person helping me got this information. She said it was quite rare to have only these applying aspects, and I’m not sure what to make of them, especially in terms of future children. I wasn’t even aware of Pallas until this afternoon, when I looked up a generic overview.
Anyway, sorry if this was too much! I really appreciate your help. This is a wonderful site!
Check out the pic of this newborn. Just born and already smiling. Giving birth can be a very clean and bright event. Birthing is just stolen by hospitals and drug companies.
Thanks Maya, what is glaringly obvious from your chart is that you can have a baby and as many as you want whenever you want it. You see – astrology in my mind guides us to the point where we completely create whatever we want whenever we want it. With your Sun shining brightly and without obstructions from the 12th house, IMO you’ve reached the unconditional love which your physical body will fully adhere to anytime – related to having children and 5th house issues. This may not be the case with your relationships (Pluto 7th house) and with your career path (Saturn conjunct Uranus), which will still drive you to evolve your attitude, but you should not have too many concerns about having a baby at all.
The only obstacle may be Lilith in 5th and it’s aspects. Can you please read this and let me know how you feel about it (it’s a pretty loose orb):
“Moon square Lilith is one of the most challenging Black Moon Lilith aspect you can have, but it is ultimately one of the most powerful. The subject will go through life facing constant intense triangular relationships that will either make or break them. They may be asked to choose between mother and spouse, child and lover or family and spiritual path. Exceptional demands may be made of them to make heartbreaking decisions, which in the end may exile them from their family. They need to learn that they can’t please everyone and to own their Lilith sovereignty. With this set up they will always end up hurting someone so they might as well pick the solution that makes their soul the happiest. They may break under the pressure of this aspect and succumb to the temptation of Lilith’s forbidden fruit in the shape of sex addiction or drugs. If they manage to come through then these subjects are a fantastic example of the Phoenix rising from the flames. The valuable life lessons they have learnt from their traumas become an inspiration to those still caught up in the darkness.” by Marina from Darkstar Astrology
