Sun conjunct North Node in composite? Very fortunate?

personally I prefer a synastry bi wheel from astro.com. Composites only work when IN a relationship and both TOB are accurate…

sun conj Node in 3rd is learning about communications via men as sun is masculine. Then venus is also conjunct Node is and this is learning about romance, joint finances, pleasure, recreational matters..

Composite charts If you go to www.astro.com click on free horoscopes, go to Interactive horoscopes, go down to Astroclick partner, that will bring up a composite chart and when you put the mouse over a planet will bring up a pop up box with the interpretation……

But you do need both times of birth to be accurate though.. enjoy.

Composites describe the relationship, not either one of you, but what you came together to learn or to do and how the ‘pair of you’ function when together….

The Book —-Planets in Composite: Analyzing Human Relationships By Robert Hand— is greatly recommended

“The composite doesn’t seem to describe what either person feels about the other. In this way it is very different from synastry, which describes the chemistry between two people in terms of how they affect each other. The composite chart is like a child, a third entity which carries the genetic imprints of both parents but combines these imprints in an entirely new way and exists independently of either of them” http://www.astro.com/astrology/incomposite.htm

“Composites have their own laws and energies, and these have nothing to do with whether we are “well matched” with someone. A composite in itself will not tell us about compatibility. That is what synastry is for. The composite won’t reveal whether the relationship is “good” or “bad” in terms of the chemistry between two people. The composite says to us, “If you choose to enter this relationship, here is its meaning and pattern of destiny” http://www.astro.com/astrology/incomposite.htm

“For example, the composite Ascendant can indicate the circumstances surrounding the first meeting or the beginning of the relationship. It can also point to how a couple initiates things together (such as projects). Similarly, the end of a relationship can be depicted by the composite twelfth house. Once a relationship kicks in (moves beyond the initial stages), the composite Sun becomes more apparent. If a commitment to each other happens, the seventh and eighth houses come more clearly into focus. As such, the conditions surrounding the planets and houses in the composite chart can show us different stages of development of the relationship over time.” http://www.cafeastrology.com/compositechart.html click on link to read full article

Composite Mars in the Seventh House Mars in the seventh house of composite chart can indicate that the two of you have a great sense of common purpose. On the other hand, it can mean a total conflict of purpose to the point that you are clearly enemies rather than friends or lovers. Either you will feel that your energies are infinitely better expressed by being together rather than apart, or you will be in an extreme state of conflict with each other. Which way your relationship will work depends to a great extent upon finding a way to express yourselves together, discovering something that you can do together. The seventh house is the house of partners and of open enemies. Even at the very worst you will know exactly where you stand with each other.

It is also possible, of course, for these two effects to occur together. This creates a love hate relationship in which your feelings toward each other oscillate rapidly between loving and hating.

The presence or Mars in this house indicates that the ¬ego energies within this relationship are very strong. In this situation it is not always easy for one of you to accede to the other’s wishes. Here the martyr game that characterises so many relationships with one of you always conceding grudgingly to the other will not work.

This position requires that the two of you be on an equal footing. Any attempt to place yourself over your partner will make a very tense situation. Give each other plenty of room to find fulfilment within the relationship and also to find something that you can work for together. Then this position of Mars will be a help rather than a hindrance.

Composite Mars Square Composite Neptune Mars square Neptune in the composite chart can be quite difficult. It indicates that your intentions and the way you interact weaken each other’s effectiveness. Usually one of you acts in such a way as to confuse or delude the other, but also you may have a negative reinforcing effect on each other. It is quite likely that you will act upon each other in turn.

The problem is that you each view the other’s successful ¬self expression as a threat. One of you may fear that the other will dominate and extinguish your individuality. But this is fear more than actual fact. Also, the relationship may present both of you with issues that you do not know how to face at this time.

The only way to deal with this aspect is to stop playing ego games, which is easier said than done, because such games are usually played out unconsciously. Neither partner is aware of what is going on.

In an extreme case you may be consciously deceitful toward each other. In a marriage, this might be done through infidelity; in a friendship, it might be actions that intentionally go against your friend’s interests. If this is the only area of difficulty between you, the ¬relationship can still be quite rewarding. But if this is one of many problems, it might be best to break the relationship off. If it has already begun and you wish to continue it, the only defence is to be completely hones with each other, and at the same time reasonably gentle in your honesty.

Composite Moon Square Composite Neptune Be very careful if you have the square of Moon and Neptune in your composite horoscope. This aspect creates a great danger that one or both of you will deceive yourselves or each other, either about the nature of the relationship or about outside matters that affect it. It can produce a situation in which one of you has come to “help” the other with a very difficult psychological problem, such as alcohol or drugs. But with a Moon Neptune square, the so called helper is often motivated by the desire to escape from some personal problem by relating to someone whose problems appear to be worse. This situation creates a ¬saviour victim relationship that can be quite unhealthy, because the real issues are never faced.

The relationship may also take on a very unreal idealistic tone, with the two of you creating beautiful illusions about yourselves and each other. but eventually you are likely to find that you have not faced all the facts about each other, and you may become completely disillusioned and embittered. Disappointment of one’s ideals is perhaps the greatest danger presented by this aspect. Its negative effects can be prevented only by the most hard nosed, pragmatic, and practical evaluation of the relationship. And unfortunately, that is the very thing that the Moon Neptune energy tends to block.

Great, thank you so much! I need to get that book.

You also have Venus conjunct north node indicating a karmic or fated relationships and also meaning that the relationship is bringing the best out of both of you. You strive together towards growth and development at a soul level. Most of what I know about composite charts I actually learned from this great book by John Townley: Composite Charts; The Astrology of Relationships. He has one more brilliant book: Planets in Love: Exploring Your Emotional and Sexual Needs
