It’s also currently transited by Saturn. What’s the impact? Here the chart and the original question.

Heironimuss said: “For the Sun Pluto wife therefore, the husband will be subtly and continually tested for weaknesses and flaws to ensure that he is still maintaining the ideal…” That is so very true for me – I often point out ways for my husband to improve something, which I guess can get on some people’s nerves, but he’s another Virgo w/ SunConjunctPluto, so he just pleasantly spits it back in my face…(–:

It totally resonates…sounds like I need to just give up on relationships. Tooo much drama and heartache. This morning I was lying in bed feeling very sad about my last relationship but I managed to push it out of my head. I can resist checking my ex’s facebook page while I am awake, but then I will end up dreaming about it.

It has to come out somewhere. I really hope it stops. I should post the composite relationship chart, but I think that will make me obsess more, better to just drop it.

I am attracted to powerful and mysterious men, but who isn’t? LOL.

T saturn conj sun quite likely heralds a ‘low vitaly’ period or poss health problems. Also father/men/authority figures may feel overly restrictive to.

“When Saturn transits conjunct the Sun, our level of maturity, realism, and responsibility come up for inspection. The goals we have set for ourselves, as well as our very character, are now re-evaluated for strength and purpose, and tested against reality. Saturn has a way of slowing down our life, as if it is forcing us to take a really good look at it. Because the Sun rules our vitality, we may feel that our energy is somewhat depleted. We begin to feel our age, and the pressures that may go along with it. We may feel alone and un-parented or unsupported. We may be assessing our achievements to date, and we are extremely sensitive to whether or not we have been recognized on a professional level as well as on a personal level. Whether our talents and abilities, and our unique individuality and character, are recognized by others becomes especially important to us. We tend to be self-critical and/or we feel that others do not support or recognize us enough. This process is necessary, as we are learning to see ourselves more realistically—without rose-colored glassesso that we can move forward with a stronger sense of purpose. This may be a time when we cut out projects or possibly relationships that are no longer working for us, or that have been built on weak foundations. We are essentially conserving our energy for those things that do work for us, and we work on building and strengthening them.” http://www.cafeastrology.com/saturntransitaspects.html

“Transiting Saturn conjunct your natal Pluto. The main theme tends to be facing responsibility in the face of corruption. This is a time when you have to concentrate your interests more deeply and narrowly, most often because you are going through a financial burden or some other kind of shortage. This is also a time to get rid of any rules and regulations that do not adequately meet the demands that you are experiencing. Many of the habits that you have grown used to, simply do not apply anymore. You may have to live with austere circumstances for a while. The authorities may not be dependable, or may be corrupt."

All transits simply act as background influences until they make a mathematical aspect to another planet or angle ie: Ascendant and Midheaven.

learn about transits learn how to read an ephemeris, the glyphs are the shorthand for signs/planets

T Saturn has well passed pluto and is on its ‘last direct’ hit conj sun. When T Saturn is conjunct your Sun it ALSO formed a square to moon, quite often this heralds, financial shortages, less socialising and an emotional low ebb. http://www.cafeastrology.com/saturntransitaspects.html read about it here.

This is what one of favorite astrologers Jeremy Neal has to say about this aspect: “Women with Sun conjunct Pluto are often therefore drawn to seek partners who are in some way powerful, mysterious and very often wealthy in their own right. The nature of Pluto though creates a compulsion which very often seeks to test the ideal, mostly because they cannot control it directly. For the Sun Pluto wife therefore, the husband will be subtly and continually tested for weaknesses and flaws to ensure that he is still maintaining the ideal and because Plutonic force is so insidious and compulsive, this process will continue very probably for years with fairly predictable results.” (more)

Constructive focus in a relationship in your chart is made even more difficult through square to Moon. It may be hard for you to hold on emotionally to a position, which is supposed to ease the way to positive outcomes. It also indicates a difficult relationship with your parents and difficulties in overcoming the family myths. There is so much subconscious material stemming from your family and the way you were brought up, that many of those deep issues interfere with your relationships. You need to be completely aware of your concept of personal power, and know what kind of messages you will be sending out. It’s the same with expressing how you care for things and people. If that’s not clear, you can easily be exposed to abuse and disrespect.

Hope this resonates and helps a bit.

Hey Anoymous12 – just so’s ya know – it gets easier to recognize ‘it’ when it occurs – that urge to ControlCrushConquer, and you become quicker to handle it so as not to drive the other person nuts. You’ll get there! Every time I mention my birthdate to an Astrologer, they raise their eyebrows and say, “Aha, Sun Conjunct Pluto – good luck with THAT power.” And it is a power, which produces that Drama&HeartAche. It attracts at the same time it repels b/c it’s like carrying around a hot, heavy rock. I’m lucky in that my husband is also a Virgo with a SunConjunctPluto, so I don’t really have to explain it to him. Happy Birthday, BTW…(–: PS: Don’t give up on that mushy thing called love!
