What does it mean if you are born on a full moon?

2

When born on the full moon, you are more euphoric than the average person. Sometimes it’s good and it attracts people to you, sometimes it doesn’t work for you because you kind of quickly lose interest and look for other excitements. It’s funny, but sometimes the more you are connected to your emotions, the less you connect to other people around you, especially with those who are very rational, and don’t base their life on heart energy. With your ripened emotion you tend to idealize, but in relationships you need to have more clarity and patience since otherwise your emotions will not be answered with the same fullness and sincerity. Don’t go into escapist mode, because people around you can learn and accomplish a lot with your balanced attitude.

Here a nice introduction & dicussion on this topic:

Full Moon Baby

I was amazed when, years ago, I worked for an engineering group and learned that many nuclear power plants add extra security during the full Moon. These button down science types acknowledge that something happens to some people during that time. How astrological of them! Of course, we are all aware of the term “full Moon madness.” Since the Moon controls our emotional energy, people with high strung Moon placements do feel the difference when the she is at her most powerful.

What does this mean for people born under the full Moon? While I am certain that my little great niece will not turn into a werewolf, she will have a hard time connecting her emotions. Expressing her emotions, understanding them, feeling and channeling them will all be hurdles for her to conquer. And during those times when the Moon goes “full” every month, if it is a constellation that activates her Natal Moon, she is going to be a bit off kilter for a day or so.

Fortunately, by making her parents aware of this they will be able to guide her over the rough spots. That is one of the most wonderful aspects of doing baby charts. Because they are road maps, they show parents what they are in for! Seriously, you don’t start a journey without a map, why start a life?

I was just wondering who else out there was born under a full moon. I’ve been reading up on it a lot and it explains a lot about my chaotic nature. I’ve always felt so non-committal – not in the sense that I don’t care, but in the sense that I really genuinely just never know exactly what I want. I want everything, I want nothing, I feel this way but I always feel that way. Nothing is ever fixed. Which is weird because my opposition is Leo-Aquarius, two fixed signs. I feel more like a Libra most of the time. It’s so frustrating because I spend SO much time self-analyzing but I never seem to come to a conclusion about anything. I can’t pin myself down, I can’t understand my own nature.

I was born on a full moon too. In fact, not only was it a full moon, but i was also born with a comet visible in the sky, there was a lunar eclipse, all the planets were in alignment and yes, all this right in those few minutes. Another weird thing is that even though i was born at exactly 7:30, it was pitchblack outside. Some people say thats incredibly rare and because of it i have weird emotion mix-ups on the night of the full moon. I also get intense boosts of energy during lunar eclipses. And just to make things even MORE weird, i have a photographic memory, i can see auras, and i have a weird urge to find who i really am all the time. I’m very self analyzing too just like you and get i get a weird aspect on life when i see stars. I know that was really long and confusing… but i’m trying to find others like me so that i don’t feel so out of place anymore. Can you believe that i’m only 14? O yeah! One more thing, art and music are my passions… if that notes to anything on the subject. Help?

I’m not sure if I was born on a full moon or not… But I sure do feel this way. I am WAY too in touch with my emotions, I over analyze myself and am always thinking that what is my greater purpose in life and questioning what life is…. Idk but its weird.. I thought I was the only phycho one XD

I too was born on a full moon. I often find that although I was born on the cusp between Virgo and Libra (September baby, here), I can either be very indecisive, or know exactly what I want and not sure how to get what I want. What does this mean for me?

This is what I hear about Virgo-Libra cusp: “responsible and fair, good team workers, but they can lack self-confidence. They are polite and open-minded, love a good debate. Kind and considerate, they rarely show their anger in public. Instead, they may use some subtle way to get even.” Maybe it’s this cusp influence, maybe it’s your natal Mars that shows lack of decisiveness. Anyway, happy belated.

@luna there is NO such thing as cusps, they were invented for commercial reasons Why do Astrologers say cusps aren’t true? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20121112095805AAyuBdQ

Ahhh, I just found out that I was born under a full moon a few minutes ago and I love it! It makes me feel like I’m not just some average person, you know?

It’s also kind of weird that I’m Cancerian and born under a full moon. I just feel like I have this connection to the moon and a connection with other people that are connected to it. Hahaha I hope that made sense!

I was born the night of the full moon as well! I was a late baby, and my parents didn’t understand why, but I have a feeling it has to do with the fact that I seemed to be waiting for the full moon and the sun’s first day of Scorpio for that year. While I always said I was born to be a scorpio, I found a lot of things have changed and I see that other side of myself as a moon in taurus. Maybe we all have that split personality and the fact that we were born during a full moon only amplifies it.

I’m so glad I’ve found this page because emotions are kind of hard for me to deal with in general… Sometimes I just revel in them and feel invincible, but other times… It’s like I shut them off and I can’t find the switch again. It’s frustrating trying to explain it to others because there’s really no name for it. It made me feel lost for a really long time, but I’m coming to terms. I had thought that there was some connection to the moon because when it’s waning in the winter months I can be very… unlike my self/more like myself? I suppose I act more like my moon sign, Taurus. The quiet, shy, thoughtful side where I can get lost in my thoughts if I’m not careful. In the spring/summer months I feel so alive and like the true Scorpio that I am. My heart also seems to hurt in the fall/winter months though there is nothing wrong with it. Anyone experience this? Tracking the moon phases, it seems like I’m most like my lunar phase taurus during the full moons in that period (generally the fall/winter) and more like my sunny sign scorpio in the spring and summer when the full moon is in scorpio…. Anyone else have similar results?

Thank you all for your insight. This… makes me feel like I’m not so alone in this after all. If any of you have anything you’d like to discuss or share, feel free to.

I was also born on a full moon day. I heard that people born on a full moon period have lot of power, when they enter a place they always get noticed. We have an energy of shiness sort of :–).

Just added this brand new book to my cart:

Full Moon Magic: Invoking Spiritual Energies for Personal and Planetary Transformation by Karen Johannsen

“This book offers practical esoteric information about meditative practices at the time of the full moon. It is an inviting and easy way to work with the heightened spiritual energies over a five-day period each month and use them for personal and planetary transformation. When rhythmically aligned with the cycles of the moon, meditation profoundly affects one’s personal life, and also has an uplifting influence upon humanity as a whole. The meditations found in Full Moon Magic are wisely designed and beautifully presented. They offer individuals, and groups, a well-structured program for monthly full-moon meditations, as well as a deep and meaningful understanding of the transformational energies available through each of the signs of the zodiac.”

Full mooners are supposed to be able to handle a lot of traffic. They are the bridge from the past to the future, and from the old to new. So whatever has to do with directing and understanding the group sentiment could work. Management of anything that flows intensely.
